CLADDED PIPES, a type of PIPES.
Cladded Pipes are a type of Pipes.
For classification purposes this subcategory is organised around three main factors: the manufacturing process, which may involve welded or seamless production; the material composition; and, specifically for seamless products, the wall thickness, since only a handful of industry players can produce seamless pipes with walls thicker than 25.4?mm.
Process piping refers to the network of tubes that move process fluids such as chemicals, fuels, industrial gases, water, steam and air around an industrial facility for manufacturing or power generation. Within that network, cladded and stainless or duplex steels are kept apart from other plant piping because they are designed for particular duties and therefore follow different requirements. High?alloy grades such as 6Mo are included in this grouping.
